Being a Student
Over the next 30 minutes or so, we'll walk through the basics of Classroom. You'll register to the service as teachers, then participate as students in a class I create. We'll go over the basics of announcements, posts, and then finally assignments.
The App
This changes everything.
Notifications
Remind kids and parents
When students log in to the app, they can choose to receive notifications. If you connect parent emails, parents receive weekly recaps of assignments and due dates.
Annotations
Write, naturally.
Students can annotate items shared with them, and teachers can annotate student work.
